The International Potato Center and the Papa Andina Initiative are committed to respecting the privacy of on-line visitors, and pledges its best efforts to that end. Your visit of our Web site is not tracked by individual name or any other personally identifiable mark.

When you register for one of our services, the International Potato Center sets a cookie. This is a small bit of text code that is stored on your computer's hard drive in order to manage your subscriptions, on-line profile and other personalized information. Additionally, cookies are also used to track user behavior as part of the analysis of the non-personally identifiable usage. The International Potato Center has contracted with a third-party vendor to track and analyze non-personally identifiable information about the usage of the International Potato Center Web site. All data collected by the Internet service provider, CGNET, is owned and used by the International Potato Center. However, you can always decline our cookies if your browser permits it.

The information provided is used for technical and customer administration of the Web site only. The Center does not share this information with third parties outside of the CGIAR network.

If you sent an email directly to a International Potato Center mailbox and it was blocked, your email may have been inadvertently captured by our spam filter. The Center uses measures that are generally effective against blocking spam. However, any approach to filtering results in the loss of some legitimate mail. The Center continues to monitor the situation to keep spam at a manageable level and minimize the loss of legitimate e-mail.
